Photorejuvenation

By removing vascular blemishes and ageing spots, and stimulating new collagen formation, visible 'rejuvenation' of the skin takes place after IPL treatment. This effect can be enhanced by removing some of the dead skin layers prior to treatment - at the clinic we use Microdermabrasion to achieve this result. A similar effect can be achieved with glycolic acid peels (not used at Stannary Clinic).

While it is not essential to use both IPL and Microdermabrasion to achieve effective Skin Rejuvenation, the combination of both modalities will certainly result in the best outcome. Combination Facial Therapy (CFT) is the term used to describe the rejuvenation of facial skin with both IPL and Microdermabrasion techniques.
